Why We Built This Site
North Carolina gives broad public access to many court records, but Wilson County records are split by record type and agency. The Clerk of Superior Court keeps Superior Court, District Court, civil, criminal, estates, special proceedings, divorce judgments, judgments, liens, foreclosures, evictions, and court-copy records. The North Carolina eCourts Portal provides online case information, hearings, payments, and judgment searches for Wilson County after the county joined eCourts Track 8 on April 28, 2025. The sheriff and police channels handle many law enforcement records, while the Register of Deeds handles marriage certificates, vital records, deeds, and real estate filings.

Only the Wilson County Clerk of Superior Court, the Wilson County Register of Deeds, North Carolina Vital Records, or another issuing government office can provide an official certified copy.
